Tourism

In 2010 the RDA became more closely involved in developing tourism, and the Agency now plays an increasingly central role in the Region's tourism and destination management.

The RDA's role in tourism management:

• The RDA works alongside the Region to coordinate destination management activities
• The RDA represents the Region at the National Tourism Congress
• The RDA has a consulting role in drafting new legislation governing tourism

Tourism-related activities:

• Organization of workshops and conferences
• Creation of product packages
• Cooperation with the Moravian-Silesian Region in tourism promotion activities
• Organization of fam trips and press trips
• Cooperation and coordination of activities with the Moravian-Silesian Tourism Cluster (KLACR) and the Moravian-Silesian Region (Department of Regional Development, Tourism)
• Cooperation with the CzechTourism tourist board
• Cooperation with various companies and service providers in the tourism sector
